Qu Biologics, Inc. is a Canadian biotechnology company based in Burnaby, British Columbia.

History

Qu Biologics was founded in 2007 by Hal Gunn and Rob Freeman.[1]

COVID-19

On December 18, 2020, the National Research Council Canada announced up to $109,764.00 in funding through the Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) to Qu Biologics "for a project to provide proof-of-concept evidence for the safety and efficacy of a preventative treatment as well as therapeutic use of a treatment to protect the lungs and prevent serious COVID-19 infection."[2]

Organization

Qu Biologics is a member organization of the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) and N2 Canada.[3][4]

Funding

Since 2007, Qu Biologics has “raised over CAD$40 million in funding from private investors and government funding”.[5]
