Marc Tessier-Lavigne

Marc Tessier-Lavigne is a Canadian-American neuroscientist who previously served as President of Stanford University.

He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).[1]

History

Tessier-Lavigne announced on July 19, 2023 that he would resign as President of Stanford University effective August 31st due to "manipulation of research data" found by a Stanford-sponsored investigation into his scientific publications.[2]
