Kevin Connery

Kevin Connery is an American musician and activist based in Brooklyn, New York.[1] He works as a bassist and music producer.[2] He is affiliated with New York Freedom Rally and World Wide Demonstration.

History

Connery attended the University of Michigan from 2006-2011 for a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Jazz/Jazz Studies.[2:1]

He first met his significant other, Ale Vasto, in 2010.[3]

On April 1, 2016, Connery published a photo with himself and Cornel West.[4] At the time, West was a vocal supporter of Bernie Sanders in his 2016 run for president.[5]

On September 12, 2018, Connery published a post on Facebook suggesting that accusations towards Syrian president Bashar al-Assad of deploying chemical weapons against his own people were false.[6]

On March 29, 2019, Connery participated in a protest outside of the County of Rockland office building in response to the county's declaration of emergency related to measles, which instituted a 30-day "ban" on unvaccinated children in public places.[1:1][7]

COVID-19

Connery has been a member of a Facebook group called New Yorkers for Medical Freedom and Parental Rights since January 18, 2021.[8]

On April 3, 2021, Connery posted an advertisement for an upcoming protest against New York's Excelsior Pass scheduled for April 5, 2021.[9]

On May 8, 2021, Connery posted an advertisement for an upcoming rally organized by World Wide Demonstration and New York Freedom Rally scheduled for May 15, 2021.[10]
