COVID-19 Evidence Network to Support Decision-making

The COVID-19 Evidence Network to support Decision-making (COVID-END) was a Canadian research network co-led by teams at the McMaster Health Forum and the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI).[1]

COVID-END's work helped lead to the creation of the Global Commission on Evidence to Address Societal Challenges.[2]

Organization

Government funding for COVID-END came from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Rapid-Improvement Support and Exchange (RISE) and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NIHR), in addition to individual donations through the Centre for Effective Altruism and Fidelity Charitable.[3]
