History

In March 2023, Kip Warner of the Canadian Society for the Advancement of Science in Public Policy (CSASPP) published an investigative article highlighting Hinkson's potential conflict of interest due to his role on the Vancouver Foundation's board of directors, citing the Foundation's significant financial relationships. In particular, Warner focuses on grants given to the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA), the employer of Dr. Bonnie Henry, a co-defendant in a suit for which CSASPP is a plaintiff and Hinkson oversaw.[2]
