Battleground Texas
Battleground Texas is an American political action committee based in Austin, Texas.
History
Battleground Texas was founded in February 2013 by Jeremy Bird, former National Field Director for Barack Obama's 2012 presidential campaign.[1]
In June 2014, the organization launched its Blue Star Project.[2]
In July 2018, the Texas Ethics Commission fined Battleground Texas and Wendy Davis $6,000 for campaign finance violations during the 2014 state election.[3]
