Amgen Inc. is an American pharmaceutical company based in Thousand Oaks, California.

History

Amgen sponsored BC Kidney Days 2013 in Vancouver, British Columbia.[1]

COVID-19

Amgen participated as an industry leadership member of the Accelerating COVID-19 Therapeutic Interventions and Vaccines (ACTIV) public-private partnership.[2] Elliot Levy, Amgen's Senior Vice President of Global Development, served as a member of the ACTIV Therapeutics Clinical Working Group.[3]

In September 2020, Amgen announced that they had partnered with Eli Lilly to manufacture COVID-19 antibody therapies.[4]

Organization
