AHS Emergency Coordination Centre

The AHS Emergency Coordination Centre was a specialized working group of Alberta Health Services (AHS) that oversaw the activities of the AHS COVID-19 Scientific Advisory Group.[1]

History

Alberta Health Services set up the Emergency Coordination Centre in January 2020, even before the declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic.[2]

In July 2021, the ECC transitioned into the Readiness & Recovery Centre.[3] This involved the creation of the AHS Emergency Coordination Centre (ECC) Post COVID-19 Taskforce.[4]
