Advisory Council on Economic Growth

The Advisory Council on Economic Growth (ACEG) is a Canadian advisory group operating under the Department of Finance Canada.

Its purpose is to advise Canada's Minister of Finance on creating conditions for long-term growth, including the development of a “robust growth strategy designed to provide higher living standards and greater opportunity for the middle class and those working hard to join it.”

History

The ACEG was announced by Finance Minister Bill Morneau on March 18, 2016.[1]
