The Life You Can Save

The Life You Can Save is an American non-profit organization based in Novato, California.

Founded by Peter Singer after his book by the same name, the organization aims “to create a world where everyone has an opportunity to build a better life and where there’s no suffering or death due to extreme poverty.” It does this “by curating a group of nonprofits that save or improve the most lives per dollar.”[1] It engages in the philanthrocapitalist ideology of "effective altruism."
