Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care
The Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care is a Canadian provincial government department of the Government of Ontario. It is a joint agency made up of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Long-Term Care.
History
On April 27, 2021, Dr. Patrick Phillips received a letter from Glenn Corneil, acting Medical Officer of Health and CEO of Temiskaming Health Unit, rejecting five COVID-19 vaccine adverse event reports. Corneil directed Phillips to refer to the December 2020 version of the Ministry of Health's document titled "Infectious Diseases Protocol Appendix B: Provincial Case Definitions for Diseases of Public Health Significance - Disease: Adverse Events Following Immunization (AEFIs)."[1]
