National Institutes of Health

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is an agency of the United States Federal Government responsible for biomedical and public health research. It sits within the United States Department of Health and Human Services.

History

On November 26, 2024, President-elect Donald Trump nominated Jay Bhattacharya to lead the NIH in his second administration.[1]

Organization
