Hudson Institute

The Hudson Institute is an American think tank based in Washington, D.C.

History

The Hudson Institute was founded on July 20, 1961 by Herman Kahn, Max Singer, and Oscar Ruebhausen with the goal "to think about the future in unconventional ways."[1][2]

On November 15, 1985, the institute hosted a benefit concert with performances by Charles Dutoit and Yo-Yo Ma.[2:1]

In 1989, the institute opened the Center for Global Food Issues under the direction of Dennis Avery.[2:2]
