Elections Canada
Elections Canada, formally the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer of Canada, is an agency of the Government of Canada responsible for administering elections in the country. It is an office of the Parliament of Canada.

Activities
Elections Canada operates an Environmental Monitoring Centre which "monitors publicly available social media and digital content for information about the federal electoral process."[2] It shares analyses of the information collected with its security partners, which include:[3]

- Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS)
- Communications Security Establishment (CSE)
- Global Affairs Canada
- Office of the Commissioner of Canada Elections
- Public Safety Canada
- Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)
