Canadian Association of Statutory Human Rights Agencies

The Canadian Association of Statutory Human Rights Agencies (CASHRA) is an umbrella organization for federal, provincial and territorial human rights commissions in Canada.

History

CASHRA was founded in 1972 as an offshoot of the Canadian Association of Administrators of Labour Legislation (CAALL).[1]

COVID-19

On April 14, 2020, CASHRA published a list of statements, policies and documents from its member organizations related to the declared COVID-19 pandemic.[2] Several new items were subsequently added, and the author of the post was changed.[3]
