COVID-19 Community Corps

The COVID-19 Community Corps was an American propaganda initiative led by the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). It was formed in April 2021 in order to recruit influential individuals and organizations to promote COVID-19 vaccines. It was part of the HHS COVID-19 Public Education Campaign.

History

HHS announced the formation of the COVID-19 Community Corps on April 1, 2021.[1]

On April 19, Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act request seeking records about the Corps.[2] After HHS failed to respond, Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit to compel the lawful release of the requested records.

Over a year later on October 4, 2022, Judicial Watch announced that it received 249 pages of records from HHS.[3]
