Alexander Doroshenko
Alexander Doroshenko is a Canadian infectious disease epidemiologist and public health specialist based in Edmonton, Alberta. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta.[1]

Doroshenko is the public health representative for the AHS COVID-19 Scientific Advisory Group under Alberta Health Services (AHS).[2]

- He also reported that his employer, the University of Alberta, was paid additional funds in research grants from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), Alberta Health Services, and the University Hospital Foundation (also listed as “University of Alberta Hospital Foundation”).
- The study found that the public health measures for which Doroshenko advocated were “associated with a substantial reduction in influenza and NIRV infections in Alberta.”
